Arkansas Edge Partners with Sigma Supply to Support NIL Opportunities Through a Revenue-Share Agreement

(Fayetteville, Ark.) July 10, 2024 – Arkansas Edge, the official Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) Collective of the Arkansas Razorbacks, is thrilled to announce an exclusive partnership with Sigma Supply, a BradyPLUS company, and the leading national specialized distributor of janitorial and sanitary, foodservice and industrial packaging supplies.

"This partnership with Sigma Supply evolved from a conversation months ago with former Razorback Bumper Pool," explained Chris Bauer, Executive Director at Arkansas Edge. "As a family-run, Arkansas-based business with national reach and a strong affinity for the Razorbacks, Sigma Supply’s culture aligns perfectly with our mission to maximize student-athlete potential and opportunities. Sigma Supply's dedication to our sports programs and student-athletes, coupled with their world-class services and solutions for virtually every business sector, they are an ideal partner and sponsor. We couldn’t be more thrilled to work with them, and we hope other Arkansas-based companies will consider doing business with them in support of this partnership."

This partnership underscores Sigma Supply’s dedication to investing in local communities and nurturing the next generation of leaders. Led by a family with deep roots in Arkansas, Sigma Supply’s leadership team is profoundly connected to Razorback culture. Through this partnership, the national janitorial, sanitation, food service and packaging supplies distributor will give a portion of sales back to Arkansas Edge that will help all Razorback sports programs remain competitive and attract and retain the best talent by offering additional NIL support.

“We are beyond excited to join forces with Arkansas Edge and directly support Razorback student-athletes,” said Bryan Leslie, VP of Sales at Sigma Supply. “As a company deeply rooted in Arkansas, we understand the importance of supporting our community. Through this partnership, we aim to equip student-athletes with some of the tools and resources they need to succeed both on and off the field while delivering the best in jan-san, food service, and industrial packaging solutions for our clients. It’s a win-win; and for us, that’s what it’s all about.”

This is not the first time Sigma Supply has stepped up to support Razorback student-athletes. In 2021, Sigma Supply was Bumper Pool’s first NIL student-athlete partnership. The now all-time leader in tackles for the University of Arkansas was so impacted by his support from Sigma Supply, it led to a partnership of his own that has extended beyond his years on the Razorback football team. Pool is now a sales account manager for Sigma Supply, the initiator of the company’s NIL Partner Program, and dedicated to supporting the next generation of Razorbacks as Sigma Supply once did for him.

“At Sigma Supply, we believe there is value that leads to success when companies invest in collegiate student-athletes,” said Pool. “So, we set out to create value-driving programs and solutions to benefit the lives of student-athletes. Personally, I am paying it forward now working for the company that invested in me and my future as a student-athlete.”
