Arkansas Edge’s “Drive for Five” campaign seeks to increase the collective’s membership club to 5,000 members through a fun and engaging way and grow NIL support for Razorback student-athletes by offering fans the opportunity to directly support our athletic programs’ success. As we march our way to 5,000 members, Arkansas Edge will be giving away exclusive experiences and offering amazing rewards for current members and members who sign up for the collective’s membership program. 

We have established phases with milestones as we drive towards 5,000 members. When a milestone is reached, new membership benefits will be unlocked and announced. Achieving each milestone will also unlock multiple giveaway drawings that EVERY member has a chance to win – new members, current members, and all membership levels can win. Prizes will include signed memorabilia, prizes from partners, exclusive tours and experiences, and sideline passes and tickets for sporting events throughout 2024. 

Arkansas Edge will keep a running tally of members and will unlock exclusive giveaways once major milestones are met. For example, when the collective reaches 1,000 members, anyone who signed up will have the chance to win giveaways, like sideline passes for the football games, tickets for games across multiple sports, exclusive tours and experiences, giveaways for food and merchandise at local restaurants and other partners, signed team memorabilia and more. 

Our goal is to reach 5,000 members, grow our community of supporters, offer our members the chance to win some awesome giveaways and be rewarded with a growing list of benefits, and bolster support for Razorback student-athletes. 

While we eventually hope to have more, this is the goal for this campaign. Charitable contributions and business partnerships also play a big part, but it is also important we stay competitive with other schools whose collectives claim fan membership rolls of over 5,000 and sometimes up to 10,000 members. Each fundraising component is important to supporting strongest NIL program possible, so we can attract top talent and support and retain the talent we already have. 

Here is an example the impact 5,000 members could have:

If everyone joins at the Digital Bronze level = $25/mo x 5,000 members x 12 months = $1.5M/year

If everyone joins at the Bronze level = $50/mo x 5,000 members x 12 months = $3M/year

If everyone joins at the Silver level = $100/mo x 5,000 members x 12 months = $6M/year

If everyone joins at the Gold level = $250/mo x 5,000 members x 12 months = $15M/year

No matter the level, every membership counts. We hope you consider joining at the level that is most comfortable to you and your situation.

Fans and supporters can participate in the Drive for Five membership campaign and win Arkansas Edge’s exclusive giveaways by becoming a member at any level.

In addition to the rewards already listed for each level of membership, giveaways and new rewards will differ for each milestone. Once we achieve a milestone, we will draw for giveaways and enter a new phase. At that time, we will announce the new giveaways for achieving the next milestone. For example, once Arkansas Edge reaches 1,000 members, the collective will be giving away sideline passes for the Razorback Spring Football game (if we reach the milestone before the game), tickets for a home baseball game, dinner for two at local restaurants, and memorabilia signed by baseball student-athletes – and maybe more. Then, as we set out on the next phase, more giveaways will be announced for achieving the next milestone as Arkansas Edge works towards 5,000 total members. 

In addition to Arkansas Edge’s Drive for Five giveaways, the collective will also be unveiling new discounts with local business partners and other benefits for all Arkansas Edge members when each milestone is achieved. For example, to reward current members with the start of this campaign, starting April 1st, all Arkansas Edge members will receive 10% off orders for all in-store orders at all Wright’s BBQ locations.

The quicker we reach the milestones; the quicker giveaways will be awarded, and rewards will be unlocked. 

The first one is set at 1,000 members. Arkansas Edge will update progress against the milestone each Friday. Once the 1,000-member milestone is reached, giveaways will be rewarded, new rewards will be unlocked, and the next milestone will be announced along with the new giveaways for achieving it.

NIL helps Razorback student-athletes use their platforms and talents to make positive contributions to our local communities while receiving compensation and growing their respective brands. Your membership dues can be designated to the sport of your choice and will send student-athletes of your chosen sport into the community to work for nonprofit and other community organizations and bring awareness to their causes to earn their NIL money. Your contributions will help our athletic programs stay competitive AND help our community at the same time.

Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) has changed college athletics. Strong NIL programs have become critical for attracting top talent, competing, and winning; especially in the SEC. It is imperative that we support NIL programs if we want our sports programs to continue to compete and win, and we give them the best chance by building the strongest NIL Collective possible. At present time, the support must come from outside of the athletic department and University. That means it cannot come from ticket sales or TV contracts. It must come from outside support: the fans, supporters and businesses who love the Razorbacks. We are pursuing support from all those groups, and every bit counts. Big or small. 

NIL presents an opportunity for Razorback Nation to directly impact athletic program success. In this state and with this passionate fanbase, united together – NIL should be our absolute right to win. We are the only program in the SEC without a divided fanbase and/or that doesn’t share the spotlight with professional sports franchises. Together, this opportunity is ours if we take it.
